Mini-update

Garcon is looking and acting more boyish, thanks to his new haircut and his continued improved mobility. He is getting more and more confident in his walking and the tumbles are fewer. We are spending a lot of time outside and one of his favorite toys is his little mower. It makes a clicking sound when you walk, and it's just the right height for him to push/pull. Last weekend, Daddy rolled the mower out of the garage, and Garcon grabbed his mower and followed right after, with a purpose in his walk. It was very cute.

He's also verbalizing a lot, much more just in the last 10 days or so. Many words/sounds, though the most recognizable ones are "dog," "mama," "dada," and "that." Usually he'll point at something and say a word, emphatically. That! He's also begun to sing in the car.

The cicadas are almost gone, thankfully, so it will be more pleasant to be outside soon. The decibel level in the backyard was almost too much to have a phone conversation. And it drowned out the sound of police sirens, from a distance
